Action Plan.

This platform is only a starting point and a reflection of some of the work I want to do for the neighbourhood that raised me. If there is an issue affecting you, your family, or your community that is not listed here, I want to hear about it. Please contact me through my website, phone, or email. Your concerns come before any campaign promise, because Ward 12 residents should always set the priorities.

🚧 1. Safer, Better-Maintained Streets

The Problem: Ward 12 residents are frustrated with potholes, damaged roads, confusing road designs, and construction impacts that affect safety and daily life.

Our Platform:
  • Prioritize faster responses to potholes and road repairs.
  • Advocate for better coordination of construction projects to reduce disruption.
  • Push for safer streets for drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, and seniors.
  • Improve communication between residents and the City when road work affects their neighbourhood.

🏗️ 2. Smarter Growth That Protects Our Neighbourhoods

The Problem: Ward 12 is growing rapidly. New development is bringing more residents, but many feel infrastructure, parks, transit, and community services are not keeping pace.

Our Platform:
  • Advocate for development that comes with the infrastructure needed to support it.
  • Ensure residents have a meaningful voice in local planning decisions.
  • Push for more community benefits from major developments, including public spaces and amenities.

🚇 3. Reliable Transit & Better Transportation

The Problem: Residents face crowded transit, traffic congestion, and transportation challenges as the population grows.

Our Platform:
  • Advocate to the TTC for more reliable service and better route planning.
  • Push for improvements to overcrowded bus and streetcar routes.
  • Work with the City and TTC to improve connections throughout Ward 12.
  • Support transportation solutions that reduce congestion and improve mobility.

🏡 4. Supporting Local Businesses & Main Streets

The Problem: Small businesses are struggling with rising costs, construction impacts, and changing neighbourhood conditions. Empty storefronts affect the character and vibrancy of our communities.

Our Platform:
  • Be a voice for local businesses at City Hall.
  • Advocate for policies that reduce unnecessary barriers for small businesses.
  • Improve communication between businesses and the City during construction and road projects.
